Robin, holding out her hand: When I was a kid, I would assign each of my family members a color of m&m and then eat them in order of who I liked the least to who I liked the most.

Steve: Who did you eat last?

Robin: My cat, Lucy. She was the brown one. I would swallow them whole so I wouldn’t hurt her chewing.

Steve: Makes sense

Steve: What color would I be?

Robin: Blue

With Hermitcraft season 9 coming to a close, I wanted to pull up this clip from Joe Hills’ ten year anniversary stream. It’s a clip I think about often.

Joe: I— it’s so hard, like, to say goodbye to ten seasons— or— ten years, of Hermitcraft. But then, I guess, I realize, I don’t have to, because we’re gonna go make more.

It just… it reminds me that we’re not saying goodbye, y’know? And there’s always a bit of that somber energy around a season ending, as exciting as it is otherwise, so I’ve been thinking about this again. Immediately after that clip, Joe goes on to talk about plans that they all have for an event the following day, and it’s just…

This whole thing with Amazon barely marketing The Edge of Sleep (if at all) really made me think about how indie projects just. In general are treated pretty poorly by an industry that now more than ever wants to play it “safe”. Stuff that comes from unconventional sources or things that aren’t considered mainstream or high brow enough (animation, musical theater, and yes, independent YouTube creators being some of the ones that come to mind) are either scoffed at or set up to fail UNLESS enough people see it or it’s part of a major franchise people know about (see: Into the Spiderverse).

Masterpieces, great art, great storytelling can come from anywhere and anyone.

But we need to fight for the platform so it can be seen by everyone.

I’ll be honest i HATE the way the QSMP fanbase is treating Gegg and Tallulah. Like Gegg literally just appears, bro hasn’t done a single thing and people start talking about how they want him to die 😭 ?? And Tallulah starts feeling insecure trough no fault of Gegg and the Gegg tag just EXPLODES with hate. I’m a big petty baby and i don’t like seeing /neg in the tags bro. It just kinda feels like tallulahs the golden child who can do no wrong and Geggs the scapegoat who’s blamed for everything, and i feel like people are already taking it too far

His Good Luck Charm

It started because you were stressed one day. You don't even remember how long ago it was or what it was even about but you found your way into his office after something at work drove your battery to the absolute limit and just sat on the floor next to him.

He'd been speedrunning. Not that you remembered what, but it was what he'd been doing. So you sat on the floor next to him, back to the wall, knees curled up as you played on your phone.

A few weeks later you did the same thing.

And again.

Soon it became habit. Even beyond being stressed or anxious or even just tired, as soon as you were done for the day, if he was speedrunning, you were on the floor next to him.

Most of the time now you even stayed nearby until he started speedrunning and then you would creep into his office and find your spot on the floor.

Sometimes, Sly would join you, curling up in your lap. Sometimes you'd have food as you sat there. Most of the time, though, you were either watching him or scrolling on your phone.

You liked being in there with him, he enjoyed being able to reach over and pat your head if he was getting frustrated. Or half the time just because he could.

It was part of your guys' normal now.

It was even at the point where if you weren't in there within the first few minutes of him running, he'd come find you or text you. He said it was because your presence made him better at runs.

Like a four leaf clover or a rabbit's foot, he said. You were his good luck charm. You didn't really believe it but him and chat did. Besides it meant you got to spend more time with him whether you guys talked during the runs or not.

A win either way.

Until he ruffled your hair too much, at least. Then he was in for a world of snarky comments and playful side eyes.

And if you ever fell asleep sitting on the floor, he'd get off stream as quickly and quietly as possible before carrying you to bed and tucking you in.

It was a good habit to have gotten into.

Just wanted to say that I really like your voice! I went to watch a bit of your streams and the sound of you talking really calms me down for some reason even if it's something I don't understand like pokemon stuff. I usually don't like the format of streams itself but I might watch yours in future (:

people who make sapnap out to be this big mean badass edgy guy or someone who wont say ily to his friends are so fucking funny to me. like besides dream sometimes he's the loviest in the dream team, ESPECIALLY vocally. he'll talk all day about how much he loves dream and george, he'll protect his friends at whatever cost, he loves animals so much, he got two kittens because he didn't want to leave the other alone, he loves SO MUCH and he's so loud about it, he is so unafraid to say i love you to his friends and it's so beautiful.

like you're telling me that the guy who once said he doesn't have to be tricked into saying he loves dream is this big mean monster? really???

Watching Tubbo's and Fit's streams and I can't wait for Bagi to return and hear everything that Empanada's been up to:

- broke their rest agreement on Friday to do lore

- got shot at by evil!Forever/Never and forced to do child labour

- had a sleepover with Sunny and Tubbo in their 3x3 bunker after the traumatic day

- celebrated Tubbo's birthday with Sunny, Fit, Ramon and briefly Tallulah and gave him a drawing

- got given bombs by domestic terrorist Santa and then proceeded to shoot Sunny so she could get hungry

- watched Tubbo build an avocado farming machine

- made a tea party with Sunny outside the factory

She's so adorable, literally watched Tubbo's stream today purely to see if Em woke up. She's already gone to bed but she is sick so expected she wants to go rest.

Edit: I forgot the new cat she got as a present from Ramon I want to know what she named it. Also she returned and they're all laying on the train tracks waiting to be hit... babysitter Tubbo is a vibe. A very different vibe to babysitter bad I think.
